Writers Workshop

During Writers Workshop for the last few weeks, writing partners have been creating Teaching Books. The process includes collaborating on words and pictures, revising, and then sharing with the whole class. 

Americorps Part 2

Our second activity was to fill a "landfill" until it overflowed into a "town". Then we recycled some materials out of the "landfill" to make more space.

Full-Day Americorps! Part 1

On Friday, January 23, we did activities with Americorps all day.

First, we built with different materials.

Materials Needed!

As you can see (and some creations have undoubtedly made their way home), we have been building a lot in Kindergarten this week! If you have anything we could use, we'd love to have it. Things like:

Toilet paper rolls

Paper towel rolls

Buttons

Egg cartons

Small cardboard boxes

Corks

Bottle caps

Etc. would be appreciated. Thank you!
