April showers bring MUD PUDDLES!!

Brain Thinking!

We tried a new app on the iPad's called Winky Think. We thought it would be a challenge for our kiddos. They rocked!!! 

It is an app with no directions and they have to figure out what they need to do to solve the problems. They had a blast!! 

Worms!!!

Today we had Mad Science visit and talked to us about worms! We observed them and were able to keep them in the classroom for a compost! The kiddos were so excited! We saved some scraps from lunch to feed them. When we start our garden in a few weeks we will add the compost to that! 

Classroom Wish List

Black bird seed (for our bird feeders outside the window)

Pets and Buddies

This week we talked about pets and other animals. We thought about what animals could be pets and also if we could have any animal as a pet what we would choose. Some said hamster, kitty, dog... While others said, white tiger, lions, penguins.... It was very fun! 

We met with out 4th grass buddies and read From Head to Toe by Eric Carle and the kids loved acting out all of the animals! We made snakes out of plates and it was a huge success! Always having fun in PreK!
